Construction Safety Complete: A 30-Hour-Style Course for Workers and Foremen

The full picture of construction safety in plain language: OSHA rights and duties, hazard recognition, falls, ladders and scaffolds, electrical, struck-by and caught-in hazards, excavation, cranes and equipment, health hazards, fire and hot work, concrete and steel, and leading a safe crew.

This is a comprehensive, self-paced construction safety course for people who want the depth of a 30-hour training in one place. It covers the OSHA construction standards (29 CFR Part 1926) that matter most on the job: worker rights and employer duties, recordkeeping, hazard recognition and job hazard analysis, fall protection, ladders, stairways and scaffolds, electrical safety, the Focus Four hazards (falls, struck-by, caught-in or between and electrocution), hand and power tools, excavation and trenching, cranes, rigging and heavy equipment, personal protective equipment, health hazards such as silica, noise, asbestos, lead and hazard communication, fire prevention, welding and confined spaces, concrete, masonry and steel erection, and emergency response and incident investigation. Every module ends with a quiz, and a final exam issues a certificate of completion. This course is awareness-level training. It is not an OSHA Outreach Training Program course and does not issue an OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour card; those cards come only from OSHA-authorized trainers. It does not replace the site-specific, equipment-specific and task-specific training your employer must provide.
